Brower Youth Awards Alumni Support

The NLI program elevates the voices of young environmental leaders who are Brower Youth Award alumni. Since the year 2000, New Leaders Initiative has awarded 6 prizes every year. These winners become alumni- which are provided with services. These services include professional development training, connection and collaboration with the entire Earth Island Institute network, promotion of their activist voices within the movement through media opportunities, conference/ speaker events, attending social networking events with partner organizations and more. In this way, New Leaders Initiative builds an alumni network full of creative and dynamic change agents who are tackling the most pressing contemporary ecological issues.
